I have listed below our thoughts and if you could provide a suggested costing and timeline that would be great.

Website template. Here are some examples of what I think would work. Especially with regards to the suggestions below. They are samples only as I know it needs to align with Spencer Travel and I understand you are launching a new website any day.

Tabs on the toolbar along the top of the site (you said we can have up to 8). We will be adding additional tabs. One in particular will be an “Offers” tab which we will then need to lead to a page where we can have a selection of offers. We will need the option of drop-down tabs with different categories under specific tabs. We are working on the tab titles and content.

When you scroll down you can see there is a selection of retreats/offers.

Home Page Visual impact on clicking into the site. We need the photos/videos/slide show to cover the full page. From left to right. This is where we first showcase the brand and our message.

It needs to be on the full screen and powerful. So enlarged with the opportunity for the slideshow as per our chat (either video or photos…depending on your advise? )

Examples:

Needs to be updated so the site is mobile friendly. The menu bar is still not working on a mobile.

Logo – Could we have this moved to the centre like the Kamalaya site. I think it would look more. balanced. At present it looks like it does not quite belong. We have a couple of options regarding shape for the logo which we can send through to you. Or any other suggestions you have would be great.

We would like to put more video footage on the site. We discussed having a you tube channel (Spencer Travel Wellness TV Channel). You pointed out the difficulty with that is the advertising pre or post on You tube – you do not know what is going to appear and it could take the client away from the site. You suggested VIMEO …we can work on this but can we embed one of these options?

An option to have an intro video on the site with both Penny and myself talking about Spencer and Wellness, why it is important to us and why they should book with us etc.

Email sign up – this is not in the right place. It is below the “Contact Us” details and it does not look right. Can we have a pop up that comes up on the home page encouraging them to sign up?

Blog – can we make this more inviting and more structured. Example – have the pictures down the lefthand side and article beside the picture, or above the article.

These are the main areas that we would like a costing, timeline and suggestions on. We will be working on the names of each of the tabs and new content.
